Never Too late, the all golden agers Americana band is composed of four musicians who have, collectively, more than two hundred  years of musical experience. Members of NTL,AI Kessel (rhythm guitar),Bill Brandon (lead guitar) and John Ciano (steel guitar) are part of the house band for the live broadcast, barn dance radio show "Heartlands Hayride" which airs bi-monthly on WDVR 89.7FM and WDVRFM.ORG on the internet. Amy Petrie, lead female vocalist, appears on the show regularly.

In addition to classic country music (Johnny Cash, Dolly Parton,Willy Nelson),this eclectic group performs  soft rock (Eagles, linda  Ronstadt,Judy Collins) and old standards from the 1930's and 1940's (George Gershwin,Hoagie Carmichael,Gus Khan). We are grateful for the opportunity to be still out there rockin' after the age of seventy and  all members of NTLiike to remind our audiences that we "sing the songs you love to remember".NTL

Centenary University Lecture Series Sponsored by the House of the Good Shepherd

Speaker Noah Haiduc-Dale will speak about: Muslim Responses to ISIS

Last year, Noah gave a presentation covering the history of political Islam and the rise of its contemporary radical forms. In response to his contention that most Muslims abhor the sort of violence and theology espoused by ISIS, he was asked how Muslims do respond to ISIS. This talk will cover the variety of Muslim responses to 21st Century radicalism, ranging from those in agreement with radical concerns but opposed to their methodology to those espousing a fundamentally different theology.

The Art of Vocalese Singing

Four years in the making, The Royal Bopsters Project was initially conceived by producer/vocalist/arranger Amy London as a twilight years feature for her musical hero and close friend Mark Murphy, who she cites as a key influence, (as do scores of other successful jazz singers.) One by one, the other ‘Royal Bopsters’ signed on for the project at London’s behest.

What you will hear will warrant this group’s achievement of making five lists for Top CD Releases for 2015 including Downbeat and Jazz Times. The Royal Bopsters is a vocal summit on which the talents of singers London, McGuinness, Pramuk and Ross unite in harmony to pay tribute to the art of vocalese singing and to the forefathers and mothers of their favored art form

Tickets $25 in Advance/ $30 at the door
