Rutherfurd Hall welcomes back The Bolshoi Studio Cabaret for a sparkling new production: Harvest Torch Songs.
This one-night-only performance blends the elegance of the classic torch song with variety and humor. While torch songs provide the heart of the program, expect surprises and laughter woven throughout the evening.
The cast has taken an exciting turn — Broadway and Metropolitan Opera star John Easterlin has joined the lineup. Known for his dazzling performances at the Metropolitan Opera, Broadway’s Chicago and The Phantom of the Opera, and on stages around the world, Easterlin brings virtuosity and comic brilliance to this cabaret evening.

John Easterlin, Tenor
A five-time Grammy Award recipient, Easterlin has performed with the Metropolitan Opera, Opéra National de Paris, Wiener Staatsoper, Royal Opera House Covent Garden, Bolshoi Theatre, Sydney Opera House, and most major houses around the world. His Broadway credits include The Phantom of the Opera, The Lion King, and Chicago. He is also a master puppeteer and magician, with international awards for his stage work.
Alison Bolshoi, Contralto and Director of The Bolshoi Studio
An international opera singer, Bolshoi has performed with The Dallas Opera, Carnegie Hall, The Liceu in Barcelona, San Francisco Opera, NJ State Opera, and festivals across Europe. She is dedicated to bringing opera and cabaret music to Warren County through her teaching and performances.
Jeffrey Hartman, Dramatic Tenor
Praised for his “thoroughly heroic tenor that remains effortlessly supple” (Opera Magazine), Hartman has performed leading roles in Turandot, Die Walküre, and Madama Butterfly in venues across Europe, Asia, and the United States, including Hamburg State Opera, Lyric Opera of Chicago, and Wroclawska Opera.
Kate DiFonzo, Mezzo-Soprano
An experienced cabaret singer with a bright, sexy voice, DiFonzo has performed with Soundscape Singers Cabaret at Don’t Tell Mama in NYC, the Morristown Performing Arts Center, and regional theaters across New Jersey. She also teaches vocal music and musical theater in Elizabeth, NJ.
Jane Baduini, Mezzo-Soprano
A graduate of Montclair State University and the Stella Adler School of Acting, Baduini has performed in musical theatre productions throughout the New York area. Favorite roles include Morticia in The Addams Family and Sally in Follies. She joined The Bolshoi Studio in 2022 and is the newest member of the cabaret.
