The Rutherfurd Hall community garden gives local residents a nice and protected place to grow fruits, vegetables, herbs, and flowers in a raised bed in our beautiful garden.

The start of the planting season is delayed this year as we are completely overhauling our garden.  The new octagonal garden design pays tribute to the history of the property and the original octagonal garden designed and planted by the Olmsted Brothers.  The redesign will also provide for more available plots for community members and will also serve as a display of plants historically planted on the property, and an educational space for the community and the students of the Allamuchy Township Mountain Villa School.

Please check back for updates in late winter on our garden opening this spring.
